People of any nationality are welcome to apply as stand-in actresses or stand-in actors.
Applicants should be able to speak Japanese at an everyday conversational level, although basic Japanese is acceptable, and should also be able to read Japanese well enough to understand the content of this website.
We welcome Japanese applicants who speak English or other languages, foreign applicants who speak English or Japanese, and naturalized Japanese citizens.

What kind of work is it?
There are many different types of assignments depending on what the client is looking for.
Examples include online English conversation while acting as someone living abroad, translation of training materials into English, and conversation practice with Japanese clients who want to speak with an English speaker.
Some assignments may also involve companionship or role-play.
For example, clients may request a rental date, a boyfriend role, or someone who matches a particular image they have in mind.
In some cases, clients may ask staff to play a certain role in real-life situations, such as a former partner, a company supervisor, or a foreign friend attending a wedding.
There are also cases where staff accompany a client to provide support or assist with an apology.**
